Smt. Arti Kujur has been appointed as Part-Time Non-Official Independent Director on the Board of SJVN Limited w.e.f. 17th July 2026.

Smt. Arti Kujur is a Social Worker from Ranchi, Jharkhand. She holds a Bachelor's degree and two Postgraduate degrees in Political Science and Public Administration, along with an LL.B. from Ranchi University.

Smt. Kujur served as a Member of Ranchi Zila Parishad from 30 November 2010 to 31 March 2022, where she worked on administrative matters in rural and tribal areas of Ranchi district. Her work involved community engagement, facilitating access to government welfare schemes such as ration cards, housing, electricity and water supply, conducting awareness programmes, and coordinating with government departments to address local issues.

She also served with the Women and Child Development Department, Jharkhand, as Chairperson of the Jharkhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights from 22 April 2016 to 22 April 2019. During her tenure, she worked on child rights, child protection, rehabilitation, and community welfare across Jharkhand. She coordinated with multiple government departments and legal authorities to address issues such as child trafficking, child labour, denial of education, malnutrition, exploitation, and sexual harassment, and was involved in rescue, rehabilitation, counselling, and legal support for affected children.
