1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project, awarded to SJVN under the CPSU Scheme (Tranche III) in September 2021, has been developed in Bikaner, Rajasthan, at a tariff of₹2.57/unit with a Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support of ₹44.72 lakh/MW. The Letter of Award (LoA) was issued on 04.10.2021, and Power Usage Agreements (PUAs) have been signed with Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) for 200 MW, Jammu & Kashmir Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL) for 300 MW, and Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited (RUVITL) for 500 MW. M/s Tata Power Solar Systems Limited has been engaged as the EPC contractor. Project was commissioned in phased manner with first COD on 02.04.2025 of capacity 241.77MW and project got fully commissioned on 24.12.2025.
